Hannah Cook is the founder and director of Mendip Accounting Solutions. She originally trained as a beauty therapist, and then worked in a variety of customer focused roles before moving into accounts in 2001.
Having gained experience working within small businesses, she started Mendip Accounting Solutions in 2005 with the aim of providing an affordable service to local sole traders and partnerships.Hannah has continually grown the business and the team and is also the founder and co-director of our partner company, Mendip HR & Payroll Solutions.

Naomi joined the team in January 2018. She ensures that things run smoothly behind the scenes of our busy office and looks after all invoicing and credit control. Her spare time is spent watching and supporting her two daughters who play football.

After university Mary qualified as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in Bristol, working with a wide range of national and local clients across the South West. Later moving to Clevedon to start a family, she gained self-employed experience before working for a local charity and providing voluntary support to several Clevedon organisations.
Mary joined Mendip in November 2022 and has enjoyed getting to know the wide range of clients and businesses we work with, from new business start-ups to long-established local characters! In her spare time, Mary sings with two local choirs and likes making things with wool.

Rebecca Cutler (Becky) joined Mendip Accounting Solutions as a Bookkeeper in October 2023. Becky’s 23 years of accounting experience has been gained in Property Management Accounting, which started after taking time to travel the globe for a year. Prior to travelling, Becky worked for a Building Society which sparked her interest in accounting.
In Becky’s spare time, she enjoys watching her children play football and rugby, going on fun camping trips with friends and spending time with her family.

Michelle joined Mendip Accounting Solutions in March 2022 after deciding on a career change, having previously worked in the fashion industry. She is currently studying towards her Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping. In her spare time Michelle enjoys long dog walks and spending time with her young family.

Roxy is Hannah's personal assistant. She is usually the first person you will contact as she manages the diary and sets up new clients before the bookkeepers and accountants take over.Roxy joined Mendip Accounting Solutions in 2022.
In her free time, Roxy enjoys being outdoors with her children, seeing friends, and running.

Rachel has a first-class degree in Accounting and Finance and went on to achieve her CIMA qualification. She began her working career in multinational corporations, and then set up her own company in France providing accounting analysis and reporting to small businesses.
Rachel joined Mendip Accounting Solutions in June 2015 following a family move from France. In her spare time, Rachel is a School Governor, loves running, baking and spending time with her special people.

Angela has been working in Bookkeeping and accounts for over 18 years. She earned her bookkeeping qualifications at the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (South Africa) up to Financial Statements, and is currently working towards her Foundation Level ACCA Diploma. She has also been awarded various other useful certifications including Business Administration and Management, Project Management and Financial Management. Angela is hardworking, enjoys problem-solving and is always on hand to help out!

Shelley began her career as an Auditor and Trainee Accountant in South Africa, before immigrating to the United Kingdom in 1998. She gained widespread experience as a bookkeeper in London in various sectors, including the oil and gas industry and property investment and development.Shelley joined Mendip Accounting Solutions on a part-time basis in February 2023, after relocating to Clevedon. She enjoys travelling, going on long scenic walks (when the weather is good!) and listening to music while pottering around in the garden.

Harriet started off her accountancy journey at 19 working for a Bristol-based kitchen manufacturer as a member of the purchase ledger team, progressing on to a credit control role where she achieved her AAT Level 2/3 qualifications. She now brings her 5 years of industry experience to the Mendip team as a trainee bookkeeper.
In her spare time, Harriet takes a keen interest in hiking, running, sewing and baking.
